Our church has one of the best ministries for young people to learn about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We have combined worship service 1st and 3rd Sundays and youth ages 4 through 18 worship together in the lower level of the church (Stephen’s Fellowship Hall, which is considered the Sanctuary for Children’s Church) while the youth ages 13 through 18 worship upstairs with the adults. God has blessed us with two wonderful Youth Pastors, Reverend Donald E. Jones, Jr. and Reverend Theodore Sherrer. The messages they deliver to the youth are based on the Word of God and meet the youth where they are, because they deal with what our youth are going through today-teaching them what they need to be strong Christians in today ‘s world. Youth who attend Children/Youth church have the opportunity to Usher, sing in the Choir, read announcements, Mime, Step, Puppets, Praise Dance, attend Tutoring during the school year, attend conventions, attend outings, do Community service and receive recognition! Ann Jackson is the Youth Director and her staff consists of adults who have a heart of love for the children.
